BRENNAN DAYNE STRAND (1996) is a painter and classical musician from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

At a very young age, Brennan started drawing and was eventually introduced to Richard Lack’s Atelier where he began his drawing studies at age 16. His passion and interest in music lead him to study both the flute and viola da gamba. Brennan has studied under Jaap Ter Linden, Mark Destrube and Jacques Ogg. He attended Florence Academy of Art where he learned traditional techniques and genres. He was introduced to the Russian style of painting leading him to study at the Repin Academy of Art in St. Petersburg, Russia. After a year at Repin he was invited to study traditional techniques at the Paris Academy of Art where he was taught under Shane Wolf, Patrick Byrnes, Jessica Artman and Danny Ferland. After completing a year in Paris he returned to study the Russian method in Saint Petersburg. He has also been mentored privately by Russian artists Sadovsky and Loginov. Brennan was interviewed by the Russian Public TV network about his art which was broadcast the summer of 2020. Brennan currently resides in Minnesota and is creating a series of portraits and figure paintings.
